Helen Ghio established Ghio Law Firm, PC, after an extensive career in commercial real estate which started in Chicago Title Company’s Legal Department in the 1990’s, followed by tenures at Hovey & Kirby, Luce Forward (now Dentons), Gerson, Solomon Minton Cardinal Doyle & Smith, and as a sole practitioner.

Ghio Law Firm, PC, focuses primarily on advising small businesses, non-profit organizations, and families, as well as larger regional companies, commercial developers, residential builders, investors, lenders, loan servicers, landlords, tenants, corporations, family trusts, statutory trusts, and entrepreneurs with an emphasis on commercial real estate matters.

Helen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California San Diego and her Juris Doctorate at the University of San Diego School of Law.

She is admitted to practice in California and before the United States District Court, Southern District, and is a licensed real estate broker. She is also a member of the California Lawyers Association and the San Diego County Bar Association.

As a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, Helen is a founding member of the Autism Tree Foundation, has served as a board member of United Cerebral Palsy San Diego since 2018, and previously served on the Board of Trustees of the San Diego Law Library Foundation.
